Established in 1972 by Chairman, Charles Thatcher Metricab continues today under his final control. Charles is assisted on a daily basis by Managing Director, Christopher Skelley who joined the Company himself in 1979.

Over the years Metricab has earned a revered position within the industry and is proud to boast an enviable Clientele, which includes many prestigious and blue chip companies in both the private and public sectors.

More often than not nowadays, in accordance with the requirements of the CDM Regulations 2015 Metricab assume the role of “Principal Contractor”, providing full project management on private networks up to and including 33kV.

From the simplest of cable terminations to the complexity of a complete electrical distribution network, each project is tailored to suit the individual requirements of the Client and each Client is afforded the highest standard of attention that they have come to expect from Metricab.

Having attained a reputation of excellence for quality, reliability, efficiency and professionalism, 90% of the work carried out by Metricab is direct for the end user, with the remainder being subcontract works of a specialist nature.

To achieve a constant high quality of service 100% of our workforce is directly employed, JIB graded, ECS (CSCS) certified, regularly appraised and provided with extensive training. We pride ourselves on the enviable workmanship, team support and loyalty of our staff.
